One of our community’s real treasures is the Hudson Rail Trail: more than 5 (soon to be 9!) miles of paved and groomed trail stretching through Albany, New Scotland, Bethlehem, and Voorheesville.
Pick up the trail anywhere in the 9 mile corridor–maps available here–and there are many opportunities for walking, jogging, biking, sightseeing, and even taking in some ART–that’s Art on the Rail Trail! The Mohawk Hudson Land Conservancy had a committee that is working to install public works of art to supplement the experience of visitors on the rail trail. To keep up to date with ART activities and events along the Rail Trail, or to donate to this local beautification project visit their Facebook pages. We’ll see you out on the trail!
