Open Spaces

Here is today’s story from the Sunday, Times Union.

Licensed real estate broker Alex Monticello hears the request for open layout a lot from his clients, and it’s a trait he looked for when he and his wife were house shopping. They found it at 80 Davis St., Albany. The previous owner knocked down the wall between the kitchen and the dining room, which had the effect of holding one’s breath and then letting it out. The entire space was lighter, airier. Monticello said he wouldn’t have bought the house had the kitchen not been updated. It was an expensive job the previous owner did mostly by himself.
