Meet Monticello Real Estate’s newest employee! Jon Shideler is the Marketing and Transaction coordinator and joined Team Monticello this past August.

If you could pick up a new skill – what would it be?

I would love to be able to do things on my car – like an oil change or change an air filter. It would be nice to not have to go and pay money for stuff like that. In fact, it would be nice just to be handy.

What is something you would like to do in the next year that you’ve never done?

I really enjoy playing golf – and I would love to go to the Masters. That is definitely a bucket list item and I have to go at least once in my life.

How do you like your eggs?

It depends on the day. If I am eating eggs alone – then I would choose scrambled. If I am eating eggs with hash browns or toast – then it would be over easy.

What is your biggest phobia?

I have a huge fear of falling through a frozen lake and getting trapped underneath the ice. I rarely go on frozen lakes to ice skate.

What is one super power you wish you had?

I would love to be able to time travel and go back to the past and visit my great grandmother and other relatives.

What is your least favorite chore?

I detest folding laundry. I hate it so much – I only do laundry every 2 weeks.
