Vromans_Nose_03Today’s featured area walk takes us to Schoharie County. Easily accessible from the Capital Region, it’s a small hike with substantial payoff, and when you get to the view it’ll be one of those times you find yourself saying “This is why we live here.”

Vroman’s Nose is a popular Upstate NY hiking trail, with several trails of varying difficulty, the easiest of which is a substantial walk, with no climbing or scrabbling. There are terrific views and education opportunities both historical and geological baked in to the stroll.

Proceed with reasonable caution–those views come with some elevation!
