Spotlight on Nirisa Adams

Nirisa Adams is a Licensed Real Estate Person at Monticello Real Estate. We recently sat down with her to learn more about her. You can view the video below.

Nirisa grew up in Nepal, which is located in South Asia, and she moved to the United States when she was 7 years old. Her parents moved here because they felt there was better opportunity for Nirisa and her brother.  Because of her background, Nirisa has a lot of knowledge of different cultures, and she can speak four other languages;  Nepali, Hindi, Urdu, and Newari. Being from Nepal, she says she really understands different points of view, and she explains, “I genuinely love meeting and getting to know people, and building relationships.”

Nirisa is a busy mom of a one-year old and when she is not doing real estate, she is spending time with her son, her two dogs and her husband. She says, “My husband is very supportive of my real estate career, so he’s really able to help me.”

Nirisa first became involved with real estate after she bought her first home. Even though she had found her own home, she found herself still looking on Zillow at homes for sale and found she wanted to really help others since she had such a good home-buying experience. That was when a lightbulb went off and she decided that real estate would be a perfect career.

Nirisa is dedicated to her community, and has been involved with Habitat for Humanity and the Regional Food Bank for several years.
