I recently discovered this new website called Animoto, which allows you to quickly and easily create short videos. Now more than ever, in this competitive Albany real estate market, realtors have to cut through the clutter and grab the buyer’s attention. Often times the buyer is plowing through dozens of listings. Anything the seller can do to make their home stand out from the sea of Albany real estate, will only increase the chances of a showing and sale. Monticello already utilizes a professional photographer, customized property website, and extensive online advertising for all of our featured listings.
Video is another way to market your Albany home for sale. The video serves up pictures and information in concise and deliverable format, one that allows the viewer to absorb the content with little effort. But when selling Albany real estate, there is no silver bullet. And if any Albany realtors promise a quick fix, you have good reason to be suspicious. Especially in this market, it’s not often that homes sell within the first few showings. Patience, persistence, and creativity are qualities that distinguish the best Albany realtors. Video is just another creative means to market your Albany real estate, by increasing and broadening your home’s exposure.
This video is for an Albany real estate listing located at 5 St Josephs Terrace, Albany NY 12210, in historic Ten Broeck Triangle. The home is beautiful, with so many details and amenities to showcase. The video I created is 85 seconds, which may be a little long. I increased the pace of the pictures to fit in as much as possible. But you can always adjust the speed of the pictures or simply edit down the number of images. My more is better strategy may not be true, so take this as a Albany real estate video test case. (It’s not an accident that TV ads are usually just 30 seconds).
I welcome your feedback as a buyer or a seller. And as always if you have any questions or are looking to hire a Albany realtor, do not hesitate to contact me.
